Kira Burge "Go Green" Exhibit & Reception

You are cordially invited to join Kira Burge as she celebrates her  latest installation/exhibition titled 'Go Green'. The reception is on Friday March 4th from 5:30-8:30pm at 543 Artist Residency at 543 Lawrence St, Eugene.

'Go Green'  explores the current consumerist movement towards becoming more environmentally advantageous through the purchase of recycled and reusable products. Le Toilette Gallery in 543 Artist Residency becomes a space of expressive “greening” as rolls of 100% post-consumed toilet paper are dipped in spring green flocking thus certifying each roll eco-friendly.

Kira Burge lives and works as an artist and curator in Seattle, Washington. She has exhibited work at the Urban Institute of Contemporary Art in Grand Rapids, the Maryland Federation of Art in Annapolis, and the Downtown Initiative for the Visual Arts in Eugene. Kira received her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Fibers from the University of Oregon in 2010.
