MOPAN Meeting Thursday, March 10, 2011 from 6:30-8:00 PM.
The featured presenter will be Leonard Henderson of Chambers Productions. Henderson works as a Director of Photography (DP), has lived and worked in the Oregon production industry since the late 1970s and has earned a reputation as expert in lighting. He teaches lighting classes at the University of Oregon and has mentored many students and interns who now work in the industry. He will be offering hands on workshops to the public this spring.
Henderson will give a preview of those workshops at our meeting. He will talk about how he got into the business and demonstrate different lighting types and how to manipulate light to get the most out of your productions.
Don't miss this opportunity to learn from one of the area's most knowledgeable and charismatic industry professionals.
Chambers Production will host the MOPAN meeting. They are located in north Eugene at 2975 Chad Drive (east of Costco at Coburg Road).
Directions: Go north on Coburg Rd to just north of Beltline, turn right onto Chad Drive and go a quarter mile past Costco. The Chambers Media Center is on the left. Come into Chambers Productions through the doors at the right of the building. Plenty of free parking. Bus stop nearby.
