The free admission presentation will showcase some of the area’s most talented actors and actresses, including Emmy award winner, Mark Lewis. A Q&A session will follow the performance. The play is rated “RRRRRRRRRRR!!!!” for strong adult language.

AND AT DIVA ...

The New Year begins with a First Friday ArtWalk opening and artist reception on January 4th, from 5:30 - 8:00PM, for “DIVA in Film” - a two-part exhibit that celebrates the cinematic arts.
DIVA’s east side gallery features work by five local artists who have each done his or her own interpretation of, or, reaction to a famous scene in cinema. The artists include Elise Ertel, painting; Jeff Langevin, digital print; Mike Stephen, sculpture/mix media; Seth Pierce, textile printing; Katie Richanbach, screen printing.
The west side gallery displays a collection of classic film posters, including several posters of motion pictures that were shot in Eugene. A film's poster is instrumental to any film's commercial success. But the posters on display not only communicate their message successfully but also do so in a visually striking way. This exhibit highlights where pop culture meets fine art. The exhibit runs through January.
The Downtown Initiative for the Visual Arts Center (DIVA) celebrates the art of the moving image throughout January with a series of exhibits and events concluding with the 9th annual OpenLens Festival on the 26th. OpenLens Festival: http://openlens.proscenia.net/
