At the end of the course in 7 weeks, you will have a firm understanding of the platforms and will be starting a project of your own right away or in the near future since you will have all you need to launch one. This is for individuals as well as institutions.

You will also get the personal support of Brainard Carey. During the 7 week course period, he will be available to you by email to personally answer questions about your coursework and anything else related to it.

Brainard Carey Co-founder and Director of The Artworld Demystified, has been advising artists on all matters related to business, marketing and exhibitions for over 20 years. He has a forthcoming book in the fall published by Allworth Press on career management in the art world.

Building a custom solid plan for the artist to develop their careers, is his specialty, and his consultations are similar to a post-graduate work in how to manage the art world.

Galleries and institutions have used Carey to raise funds for projects and to develop their audiences.

By using his ability and interest in the international art world, he helps others to focus their ideas. He creates ways of reaching out to the world with the latest tools of social networking as well as traditional meetings and presentations.

He also writes letters, statements, grants and press releases for artists, galleries and museums to get more attention in print and on the web.

Brainard Carey is based in New York City, but works all over the world by phone and in person.
